Q: Do I need to check in online for my cruise?
A: The majority of cruise lines provide the option to check-in online, by completing the process this helps ensure smooth embarkation at the port. You can complete the check-in by visiting the following websites:
Ambassador Cruises

Within 72 hours of sailing, you’ll be able to check-in for your cruise, complete the Health Declaration, download your boarding pass, car park permit/coach voucher and luggage labels.
Ambassador do not issue a paper ticket for travel; all cruise information and documentation will be available through the ‘My Ambassador Sailing’ page on the website or through the Ambassador App.
Azamara

At this time, Azamara do not offer online check-in. However, for a stress-free voyage Azamara offer ‘Easy Check-In at the port. We will send your tickets around 2 weeks pre departure, you should take this ticket booklet to the port, along with a valid passport and credit card for onboard purchases.
Carnival cruises

Online check-in can be accessed within 14 days prior to sailing and no later than midnight prior to the sailing date. To complete the online check-in, you will need to create an account, enter your Carnival booking reference, last name, date of birth, ship name and sail date. If you already have a Carnival account, log in with your email address or username and password. Online check-in can be found under 'My To-Do list'. This is a mandatory process to allow us to email your tickets.
Celebrity Cruises

To complete your online check-in, you should sign into the Celebrity guest account by visiting the above link. By completing the check-in process, you will generate your Xpress pass that you present at embarkation. Check-in must be completed at least 3 days prior to sailing.
Although we strongly suggest completing this process, we will email you a travel summary around 2 weeks pre departure which can be used as a ticket to check-in at the port.
Cunard

You can complete your online check-in within 21 days of departure. Once you’ve checked-in, you’ll generate your own boarding pass and luggage label which you can print or download to your smartphone and take to the port/airport. This boarding pass replaces the traditional ticket.
Costa cruises

Web check-in will open 10 days before departure on MyCosta. To access web check-in, you enter your name and reservation number. Once you have completed the check-in process we can send your tickets.
Fred Olsen

Fred Olsen allow you to manage your Cruise from the ‘My Cruises’ section of their website and app. We would ask that you fill out your Guest Information Form to allow us to issue your tickets around 2 weeks pre departure. Fred Olsen, require your travel insurance details, next-of-kin and passport details.
Holland America

You can either complete your online check-in by logging onto your cruise planner or downloading the Holland America Line Navigator App. By completing this process, you will generate your boarding pass and luggage labels. Holland America recommend completing this process around 30 days pre departure.
Once you have completed this process we will send you the required documents for travel.
MSC Cruises

To allow us to email your tickets around 2 weeks before you travel, we would ask that you complete your online check-in on the MSC website. You can do this from around 30 days pre departure and this helps prevent any delays with your tickets.
NCL

21 days prior to sailing NCL ask that you check-in online, this is a mandatory requirement. Please be aware that check-in closes 3 days prior to sailing. Once you have completed the check-in process you will be able to download your eDocs (boarding pass). This boarding pass replaces the traditional ticket.
P and O

You can complete your online check-in within 21 days of departure. Once you’ve checked-in, you’ll generate your own boarding pass and luggage label which you can print or download to your smartphone and take to the port/airport. This boarding pass replaces the traditional ticket.
Princess Cruises

You should download the Princess Cruises App to complete your online check-in. Princess Cruises ask that you complete the ‘Ocean Ready’ process to generate your boarding pass. Please visit the link above to find detailed instructions on how to become ‘Ocean Ready’.
Although we strongly suggest completing this process, we will email you a travel summary around 2 weeks pre departure which can be used as a ticket to check-in at the port.
Regent

You can check-in online for your Regent cruise 21 days pre departure and up to 4 days prior to embarkation. Once you have completed the required steps, you will receive a boarding pass that can be presented at embarkation.
Regent also ask that you complete your guest registration form, the guest ticket contract acknowledgement and health and safety acknowledgement before you travel. You can do this at anytime once you have created your account by visiting the above link.
Once you have completed this process, we send you your final vacation summary ie your tickets.
Royal Caribbean

You can either check-in online or download the Royal Caribbean App around 45 days before you sail. By completing the check-in process, you will generate a boarding pass which can be scanned at the port, speeding up boarding.
Although we strongly suggest completing this process, we will email you a travel summary around 2 weeks pre departure which can be used as a ticket to check-in at the port.
Seabourn

By creating an account or logging in with your booking reference Seabourn allow you to complete your online guest registration which will generate your digital boarding pass. By downloading Seabourn’s app you will have your boarding pass on your device ready for embarkation.
Once you have completed this process, we will send you the required documents for travel.
Silversea

Silversea check-in is completed at port side but we advise that you take some time to create or login to your ‘My Silversea’ account. Once you have logged in you will need to complete the Guest Information Form to provide your passport, next of kin and insurance details. Once you have completed this process, Silversea will release your tickets (around 3 week pre departure) which we will send to you directly.
For all other cruise lines, we will contact your directly if there are any check-in or pre travel requirements to release your tickets.
